Phil Regular

Chestermere, Alberta

Phil started drag racing in 2023 on a Scotty Built 1989 Suzuki GS 1150cc slick-and-bar bike. His rookie season was a success, finishing with multiple 2nd-place results and one 1st-place win.

In 2024, Triple Tree Racing (TTR) was formed, and the season was nothing short of incredible. Phil earned multiple race wins and finished 2nd overall in points, while the team captured victories across several classes — including multiple 1st-place finishes in season points.

The 2025 season brought new challenges as Phil battled shoulder injuries. He shifted his focus to mentoring Triple Tree Racing’s new rider, crewing, and ensuring they all had the support to learn and race safely. Phil also worked on building and testing his new bike for the 2026 season.

Currently, Phil is collaborating once again with Scotty Built to create a new ride for 2026 — a 72-inch wheelbase chassis, 10-inch rear tire, 1600cc Hayabusa powered by nitrous and a FuelTech computer system.

With the love and support from his wife and kids, every race weekend becomes a family event — both with his own crew and the extended track family.
